We offer a unique opportunity to taste and purchase wines, not only from the Nelson site, but also from our Shine Basin Vineyard in the Cromwell Basin, Central Otago.

DUNBAR ESTATES wines include Pinot Gris, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Tasman Rosé, Pinot Noir Rosé and award-winning Pinot Noir.

We also sell our own olive oils and home made preserves at the cellar door.

DUNBAR ESTATES Ngatimoti cellar door & café on the Motueka Valley Highway presents a beautiful indoor/outdoor area, grand piano, hospitable staff, catering either in-house or out-sourced. You can enjoy the outdoor area with gardens, lawns, immaculate vineyard and a large spectacular pin oak tree with dramatic views across to the Mt Arthur range. Savour the peacefulness of the environment accompanied by the soothing sounds of the Motueka River as it weaves its way to the sea. We can provide furniture, furnishings & catering etc and some decoration.

Dunbar Estates Ngatimoti cellar door & café is centrally located in the Motueka Valley, along the main highway that links Christchurch and the West Coast to many beautiful places such as Golden Bay, Kaiteriteri, Marahau and the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.

It is 20 minutes to Motueka or Mapua and 40 minutes from Nelson Airport.
